NearSpace Education (NSE) has been renovating the land between the 79 E Railroad building and Main Street. This new renovation provides space for all of Grant County and surrounding areas to enjoy. It includes a amphitheater, learning center, a small creek, Tennessee boulders, mature trees, and a pergola with the capabilities for outdoor music and town events.

NearSpace Education (NSE) is a nonprofit based in Upland, Indiana. Their mission is to support the education of a new generation of STEM students through innovative educational programs and the local community. NSE provides schools, organizations, and community with “out-of-this-world,” project-based learning experiences.
